Ideal for home users & small businesses. This service is mainly designed for surfing the web and retrieving or sending mail. If you need the stability of knowing that you have got X amount of bandwidth per month then the Standard Shaped accounts are just for you. All DigiServ™ accounts international bandwidth are supplied via Fiber optic links on the undersea SAT3 cable and not via Satellite like most other ISP's. This gives you a FASTER surfing experience without all the latency.

Plus there is no need to add fancy proxy settings or any other 3rd party software. Just add our DigiServ™ username and password to your router and you are ready to go.

ADSL Standard Shaped accounts are normal month to month billed accounts. The remaining bandwidth does not carry over to next month. If you are looking for that service then please look at our Prepaid accounts.

To utilise our ADSL packages you require:

• 	An ADSL enabled telephone line supplied by Telkom. (Check whether your line is ADSL enabled | View prices)

Works similar to Dynamic DNS but without the need for extra client side monitoring software. vIP Lock - Enabling your ADSL account to be locked to your ADSL line reducing the risk of account abuse. vIP Secure - Will block unwanted traffic to ports on your ADSL router. Example: 23 Telnet 80 HTTP 254 Open port on the Marconi router 255 Open port on the Marconi router Concurrent Locations: This means that you can only use your ADSL username and password at X separate locations. Example: If your account allows 2 Concurrent Locations then you will be able to use that same username and password at home and at work simultaneously. Port Shaping: HTTP, SMTP, POP3, FTP will take priority. Non standard ports like the Peer to Peer software applications are shaped(slowed down). POP3 Email Account's: We supply you with 1 full POP3 mailbox. These are not aliases but full email accounts. SMTP Server Access: The ability to send out emails via any of the SAIX SMTP servers. This service is therefore mainly designed for surfing the web and retrieving or sending email. All international HTTP traffic is transparently cached for uncapped ADSL users. With this service all international un-cached data is shaped. The following un-cached protocols are prioritised on the network: HTTP (in certain cases HTTP is not cached due to website incompatibilities), HTTPS, FTP. Mail (POP3 and IMAP), SSH and TELNET. This means that protocols not mentioned above will receive a lower priority on the network. HOW TO CHANGE YOUR ISP 1)  Signup for one of our ADSL accounts. 2)  Cancel your subscription at your present ISP. 3)  Replace your present ISP's username & password with the new one's from DigiServ™ Technologies on your router and you are ready to go. You will pay for the full month on activation, even if the activation date is the last day of the month.
