My scripts can't write to files on my web site or FrontPage-enabled site

When your domain is set up by Helm, it is automatically created with write privileges. However, installing FrontPage extensions will remove the write privileges and leave you with read only. If have scripts that are trying to write to or automatically create files on your web site they will fail.

To resolve this, log into your Helm control panel user account and click the Domains icon. Then, click your domain from the list. Next, from the domain main menu, click the Web Site Settings icon. Now, check the Website Write Permissions checkbox and save. If it is already checked, uncheck it, click save, then check it and click save again.

If this still does not resolve your problem, please open a support ticket and we will be glad to reset your permissions.
